Welcome aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express - undeniably the World's most famous train. Journey to or from Italy in classic style on this magnificent train.
As you travel through the changing landscapes of Europe, you will be surrounded by the lavish decor of each antique car and your cabin accommodation. You will sample the stunning cuisine and experience a romantic and glamorous atmosphere, that only the Golden Age of the Orient Express can purvey. Operates: 21 March - 8 November 2007 inclusive.
RETURN TRIPS
For return trips, London-Venice/Venice-Paris and Paris-Venice/Venice-London receive a 25% reduction.
CHILDREN
Travellers under 12 years of age receive 20% reduction on all prices (providing each child is accompanied by one adult).
FOR 4 PEOPLE OR MORE TRAVELLING TOGETHER
A reduction of 5% is applicable, providing all are booked at the same time. The child discount can be applied in conjunction with this offer.
INFORMATION
On the English section of your journey, you are allocated a reserved restaurant seat in one of the British Pullman carriages (where applicable). The Channel crossing is via the Eurotunnel (until further notice). Once on the Continental Train you will have your own allocated private compartment - equipped with wash-basin cabinet. By day, the compartment has seating, by night, these are converted to two beds (upper and lower). All table d'hote meals are included in the price. An a la carte menu and additional snacks and beverages are available at an additional cost.
WHAT TO WEAR
Casual, but elegant attire is in keeping with the tradition of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. In the evening, travellers tend to dress semi formalor formal (a lounge suite or black tie for men and cocktail or evening attire for women).
SMOKING
On the British Pullman, you must request a smoking seat at the time of booking. On the Continental train, you are requested not to smoke during the meal service in the restaurants. Smoking is allowed in the bar or in your cabin.
ADJOINING SECOND CABIN
For additional comfort, you may choose to book an adjoining cabin. The supplement shown is for two people sharing. Waiting list for adjoining cabin is available within 7 weeks of departure date only. Please ask to be added to the waiting list at the time of booking.

Departing London or Paris on Thursday or Sunday. Departing Rome on Saturday - 2 nights Travel through Southern England to France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Spend an extra night on the train, travelling from Venice to Rome, through Florence (includes a Tour of Venice).

Departing Paris to Istanbul Friday, 1 Sep 06 - 5 nights. Departing Istanbul to Venice Friday, 8 Sep 06 - 5 nights. Travel from Paris to Istanbul via Zurich, Vienna, Budapest and Bucharest or Istanbul to Venice via Bucharest and Vienna. Both journeys include sightseeing and one night in Budapest.
