Every effort has been made to ensure that the content of the website are accurate at the time of printing and The Company shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss caused by any unintended inaccuracy. If for reasons beyond The Company's control, and if The Company determines in the interest of safety and security to change your package arrangements, and/or accommodation, either in whole or in part we reserve the right to do so, and will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements of the same standard as that originally booked. The Terms and Conditions, Responsibilities and Obligations associated with use of this website are in direct association with our general Terms and Conditions which remain entirely valid for all website transactions, queries and information sources. All users acknowledge that the contents of this website and its associated Intellectual Property Rights remain the property of Kernot International Travel Pty Ltd. The Company does not permit any unauthorised use of any part of this website. Kernot International Travel Pty Ltd retains all intellectual property rights, including without limitation any rights arising from the: Trade Marks Act 1995 (Cth); Patents Act 1990 (Cth); Copyright Act 1968 (Cth); Circuits Layout Act 1989 (Cth); and rights by any similar legislation outside the Commonwealth of Australia, and/or any similar unregistered right. You should not rely on the absolute accuracy of this website without having made your own independent enquiries. If you are operating as a business when using this website, you must ensure that all employees, contractors, company officers and any other agents acting for on your behalf, are made fully aware of these terms and conditions pertaining to use of this website. PRICES
All pricing on this site is in AUD. Where exchange rate fluctuations occur of more than 2.5%, or any other increases in the price of services provided which are beyond the control of The Company, then The Company reserves the right to adjust package prices accordingly.
COSTS NOT INCLUDED IN PRICES SHOWN
Airfares unless otherwise stated, visa & passport costs, travel insurance, vaccination and medical expenses, excess baggage, airport departure taxes, laundry, postage, phone calls, fax/email charges, beverages, items of a personal nature, tips and meals not mentioned on itinerary.
INSURANCE
Travel insurance is not included in any of the prices quoted on this website. You are strongly advised to arrange this cover to protect you for the duration of your holiday. We suggest that you take out the policy at time of booking and that the policy should include, but not be limited to the following features: Loss of deposit and/or final payment; injury, death, theft, loss of luggage and personal items, curtailment of tours en-route, medical expenses, cancellation of advance purchase airfares, additional expenses to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs should your holiday need to be extended or curtailed due to illness while overseas.
COMPANY RESPONSIBILITY
Kernot International Travel Pty Ltd is not itself a carrier or hotelier, nor do we own aircraft, hotels or coaches. The services that The Company supplies consist of arranging and coordinating accommodation, tours and transfers, making bookings and issuing vouchers to be redeemed by suppliers. We exercise every care in the selection of reputable airlines, tour operators, coach operators, hotels and other suppliers of the various travel services that are used in these tours. It is important to note, therefore, that all bookings with Kernot International Travel Pty Ltd are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by airlines, coach operators, hoteliers, and other service providers including but not limited to shipping, rail, car hire and restaurant operators, whose services we utilise, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage of baggage.
We always do our best to ensure that your holiday arrangements are satisfactory, and we accept liability for, but only to the extent of, any loss or damage sustained by you as the result of our negligence, or that of our employees or agents. However The Company does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default whether negligent or otherwise, of those airlines, coach operators, shipping and cruise companies, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with your tour arrangements pursuant to a contract between themselves and yourself (which may be evidenced in writing by the issue of a ticket, voucher, coupon or the like) and over which The Company has no direct and exclusive control.
The Company does not accept responsibility in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which is beyond its control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on the part of The Company, including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accidents to, or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action (whether or not involving our employees and even though such actions may be settled by acceding to the demands of a labour group).
TRAVELLERS RESPONSIBILITY
You should familiarise yourself with any health or visa requirements that may be applicable in the areas that you intend visiting, and you shall be responsible for all entry, exit, health and other documents required by law, regulations, orders, demands or requirements of the countries visited or transited. You should carry a valid passport at all times. Passport, visa and vaccination requirements are not our responsibility and we are not liable for any loss or expense due to your failure to comply with the above. It remains your responsibility to ensure that these documents are in order and to meet any additional costs incurred (whether by the client or by Kernot International Travel Pty Ltd on the client's behalf) as a result of failure to comply with such requirements. You accept that you may be travelling through areas of political or climatic instability, high altitude and remote areas without proper medical services, and accept the associated risks. The making of a booking constitutes your acceptance of all booking terms and conditions as described herein and forms the basis of your contract with Kernot International Travel Pty Ltd.
A. It is your responsibility to advise us of any special requirements you may have.
B. No representation made by your Travel Agent to you concerning the quality, location, or any other matter in relation to the services and facilities provided by The Company shall bind The Company unless your Travel Agent has been expressly or impliedly authorised by us to make such a representation.
PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Confirmation of requested items will usually be within 48 hours.
- A non refundable deposit of $110 per person made through your local travel agent or Kernot International Travel Pty Ltd will secure space on tours and travel arrangements required. For villas, apartments, cookery weeks and walking tours a deposit of 30% (of rental price) or $500 (whichever is greater) and full payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure from Australia.
- Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure from Australia unless otherwise specified.
- Where travel commences within 45 days of making the booking, full payment is required at the time of booking.
